Cancellation Policy For Co-Working Space

You can request a quotation first rather then booking if you are unsure if you are want to proceed with booking. Also for large or repeat bookings you can request a specific cancellation policy if required and we can include this in any quotation.

For Hot Desk Cancellations – bookings and payments are primarily through Connected Hubs

  1. If you cancel within same day of the invoice date (date it was paid) via email to info@thebuildingblock.ie and provided the booked date is not for same day or next day we will refund you 100%
  2. If you try to cancel less than or 2 days before from the booked date we cannot refund you, your payment is lost in the case of cancellation.
  3. For all other cancellations only via email to info@thebuildingblock.ie we will refund 50% of the fee, this covers basic admin costs, based on the low cost of the desk rental and the loss of income due to space being booked preventing others from its use.

 

For Meeting Rooms and Event Space Cancellations – large bookings

  1. If you cancel within same day of invoice date being made via email to info@thebuildingblock.ie and provided the booking is not for same day or next day we will refund you 100%
  2. If you try to cancel less than or 7 days from the booked date we cannot refund you, your payment is lost in the case of cancellation. This is due to the room or event space being booked and preventing it being available to others.
  3. For all other cancellations only via email to info@thebuildingblock.ie we will refund 50% of the fee.

If you have any queries regarding this policy or if your booking is for large or repeat events over a longer period of time that requires a specific cancellation option included in the offer, please email info@thebuildingblock.ie and we would be happy to discuss and agree. Any variation on cancellation policies from above will be included in the details of your invoice or quotation and must be agreed in writing before the invoice is issued.

For Dedicated Desk Letting Termination

If your booking relates to a Dedicated Desk, the terms of the termination of the agreement are detailed in the letting agreement itself only. At time of writing, termination of a Dedicated Desk letting agreement can be provided at any time subject to the following conditions only, that the termination notice be in writing via email to info@thebuildingblock.ie, that the notice provided be a minimum of 1 month in advance of the termination date, that the termination date can only be after the initial 3 month minimum letting term.

Meeting Rooms - Seats 8/14 - Terms and Conditions

  • Nugent Meeting Room – Seats 10-12 = €30/1hrs €108/4.5hrs €180/8hrs (excl VAT) – Check Diary HERE
  • Rushe Meeting Room – Seats 6-8 = €20/1hrs €72/4.5hrs €120/8hrs (excl VAT) – Check Diary HERE
  • 3 X Meeting Booths and 3 X Phone Booths = Free with all Dedicated Desk or Hot Desk Bookings
  • Access = Typically Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 or by appointment
  • Coffee/Tea = Free freshly ground coffee and tea
  • Please note we can also provide rooms for longer bookings e.g. for training events etc

Dedicated Desk - Monthly - Terms and Conditions

  • Access = Fob Access
  • Desk = Large 1.8m wide 800mm deep desk dedicated for your sole use throughout your stay
  • Meeting Rooms = Free use of all meeting rooms
  • Facilities = Full use of Meeting Booths / Phone Booths / Kitchen / Breakout Areas / 1GB Synchronous Wi-Fi
  • Tea/Coffee = Free tea and freshly ground coffee
  • Rent = €239 payable monthly in advance (*€286 for a desk shared between 2 people)
  • Security Deposit = €239 which is refundable subject to terms and conditions
  • Termination = minimum 3 months letting agreement thereafter 1 months notice at any time
  • * Desks can be shared with 2 part time people so long as they do not use simultaneously

Hot Desk - 10 day block - Details and Booking

  • Book Now – Using Connected Hubs
  • Access = Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
  • Use of “Hot Desk” with monitor/keyboard/mouse (bring your own laptop)
  • Facilities = Full use of the Kitchen/Breakout Areas/1GB Synchronous Wi-Fi/Meeting Booths
  • Tea/Coffee = Free tea and freshly ground coffee
  • Rent = €160 plus VAT
  • Access Days = 10 days, which must be used fully within 30 days of invoice date

Hot Desk - Details and Booking

  • Book Now – Using Connected Hubs
  • Access = Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
  • Use of “Hot Desk” with monitor/keyboard/mouse (bring your own laptop)
  • Facilities = Full use of the Kitchen/Breakout Areas/1GB Synchronous Wi-Fi/Meeting Booths
  • Tea/Coffee = Free tea and freshly ground coffee
  • Rent = €19 plus VAT per day
